Tilmicosin has a broad spectrum antibiotic effect against gram-positive bacterium, some negative bacteria,mycoplasma and spirochete. Furthermore, it has much stronger antibacterial active function than tylosin against actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, pasteurella and livestock and poultry mycoplasma. This product could be absorbed quickly and penetrate barriers powerfully. It is distributed in a considerable extent and its concentration in lung and milk is fairly high.
